China product were too great that American brand can't compete anymore as certified by Raimondo & Yellen.
That's why I moved on from iPhone to Samsung, and now Chinese brand.
What actually make me sad is Indonesia protectionism.
I want a Xiaomi 14 Ultra, but not available due to TKDN/protectionism.
Vivo X100 Plus is also NOT coming to Indonesia
The iQoo 12, doesn't have the 1TB version.
The Xiaomi 14 that come to Indonesia, only have the 256GB version.
Sad..... we're limited in choice just because bad leader.

like, for IDR 11M i can have a brand-new iQOO12 with 16/512 memory, 8gen3, excellent cameras, 120w charging, unusually high signal reception, 144hz ltpo amoled screen which is great. What kind of iPhones do you think you can get your hands on with the said money? second-hand iPhone 12pro? no thanks.

I can easily find people with 5-6 years old Samsung/iPhone as their main phone, but not people with old chinese phone.

You can buy similar product cheaper and I don't think USA has a very good reputation among other countries.
I personally think globalization ended. Yes, trade will still continue, but domestic production will take the lead. If a country is capable to replace imports with domestic products, It would be stupid to not do so.
