What a miserable mess Samsung is making. I don't want to repair my smartphone if I only want to replace the battery. I don't want to have to buy and use expensive tools to do this. Samsung seems to be too stupid to design a flagship smartphone with a simple flap for easy battery replacement, like they used to do.
It seems that all the good designers have left Samsung and only money-grabbing idiots are still employed there
The EU Commission should finally make it compulsory for all manufacturers to ensure that batteries can be replaced easily and without tools in the future. And the managers responsible should be sued for crimes against the environment with at least ten years imprisonment and forced labour.

Two companies seeing benefits in their partnership, partnered together. They are ending the partnership and the smaller of the two complaining about the other.

Absolutely true! And this applies not only to Samsung but to Apple as well. Their parts are so ridiculously expensive that it just doesn't make sense to repair their phones.

Well this was very exúectable.
Samsung is all about the cost for a brand sticker not about quality.
They were about quality around S8 or so. From then they went pricing.
From S10 and later their quality is worse than Xiaomi.

It's not worth to take the risk like self repair.
Just to save few cents, some will end up losing 100 percent.
Rathar go to an expert to repair.
Don't try to be your own family doctor if you don't study it on your own for more than 10,000 hours at least and have some experience in solving the problem.

yalim, 24 May 2024what's point of risking your phone in self repair rath... morerather than replacing parts self , more important is how to test & identify faulty parts/chips & other board level operations, those require other machines & not just tools and screwdrivers, i think it should be called self-replace program instead of self-repair, and in-experienced users ultimately end up to stores after trying failed self-replace attempts unknowingly damaging some or other things resulting in imperfect fitments or inoperable fixes, which benefits companies additionally second time,
