how many dolphin add ons have you seen????
How many launchers have you seen???
and for your kind info only 0.5 of malware is from play store....and android 4.2 has a built in malware scanner to detect it.....
With android you can control your.phone...but with other oses they control over you...

I would love to see Nokia phone running Android. Nokia has years of experience making hardware, so there shouldn't be any problem for Nokia. It's up to stupid harded head CEO Elop to make it happen or not. Android with infamous Carl Zeiss camera is awesome.

lots and lots of widgets,lock screens, keypads....and pie controls....
And can choose any browser as default one....
Adding toggles in notification bar...
And even customisation in led notifications....
You can have all these things without rooting the device....
This is what i say customisation at it's best.....
Go and have some knowledge...

I have a note2 and an iPad3 and running on their latest OSes. In my opinion you shouldn't blame the Oses what causes lag is the ability of their CPU, RAM and all of those stuff.

No. Nokia needs an own OS powerfull as Android.
Sailfish OS for example. They had Meego, Maemo, Symbian, I do not know why they screwed up instead using the experience from all of it and make a kick ass OS.

Ok lots of people in confusion here..
Nokia and ms signed an agreement for 5 years in 2011 .. nokia cannot produce android or any other os.. if they do they will be charged hefty fines.. in return for being this exclusive.. ms gives them 1 billion $ per year but they charges 10 $ per phone sold as royalty.. so the cash given by ms is offset by royalty fees or you can say they get wp for free..
nokia sold around 4.6 million lumias in q1 , and has an estimate about 7 million for q2 2013 .. results are due on 18 july .. though it is obvious that due to lumia 520 and 720 numbers will be higher .. the concern here is they are loosing in asha range badly.. as cheap androids is any day better than asha phones.. ( as now specs are good in cheap range .. 1ghz cpu 512 mb ram ) dont compare mid dual core phones with cheap droids think of it as a person who is limited with cash he is getting smartphone capablities he can comprimise on little performance.. and soon in few months there will be dual cores in that range making android experience beautiful..
wp is a great software no doubt , it is taking pace at a rate slower than what nokia is spending in cash.. it is not an instant hit which was believed it will be , it will rise but it will take time... but it is suited more for mid end not high end.. nokia now have 80 % of windows phone ecosystem but this is really bad actually this means that other oems are not interested as it is much more profitable for them in android.. People will buy wp in low - mid end because user experience is far better than android at the moment and there are no android alternatives as good as lumia 520 specs .. low - mid end is where android is laggy ( but by year end google is releasing key lime pie its main target is to highly optimize it for low end phones on 512 mb ram.. And by then you will see 1 gb ram in low ends. then hardware and software will be in total sync.. do you think if android gets as smooth as wp would you buy wp . There are different people with different choices not everyone will like android or wp .. so there will be enough people who will buy wp still but do you really think wp can come ahead of android ? i bet no closed ecosystem can come.. so all the marketshare that awp has to get is from apple ios.. the fight is between ios and wp .. people who buy ios are not concerned which os does it have they buy it for apple branding ( which are the majority ) soon apple is going to launch a 300 $ iphone and has made some great improvements nothing much against android but still quite changes..
so in the end to sum it up while wp is growing at decent rate and is good os but it has been succesfull in low end only 520, 620 , 720 becuase you don't get that smooth user experience in android there, once this problem is solved then it will remain to be seen how many will go for wp.. in high end nokia is leader in camera that is what making phones sell, asha is falling in revenue , all will be decided on 18 july .. if results are good wp else elop will be fired if not then wp 8.1.
what analyst meat is it is better to pay hefty fines to ms now to switch to android than going for wp.. as it is not increasing at a rate that everyone believed and if there is no nokia there is no wp..
everyone knows nokia has the best hardware and customer service and camera , samsung is no 1 only because nokia is not in android ..

The camera is a gimic to boost a poor os shame on u nokia a google edition pureview on a s800 soc would be they best seller but stubbern nokia will be second to tech giants they need to change and make a true x86 capable windows desktop os phone with purview for full use of camera editing softwares and full access to pc apps

Android is still laggy, whether it's minor or major. Using launchers to change the look of the device, and you need to root for themes which voids the warranty. You call that customization? It's half baked customization.
