No need to go Android. 75% of the apps in Android are simply wallpapers, dolphin browsers add on, launchers, themes and marlwares. Windows phone 8 OS is a nice OS and it will be full baked after some major updates to the OS. In this world, almost every OEMs has gone android, even those cheap Chinese companies. Android has many bugs such as lagging, some apps don't work, heating up, restarting, virus issue, your privacy isn't safe in Android, and many other issue. Nokia wouldn't fit in the Android image, but with their hardwares they will sell crazy and Google will stop innovating since there will be Nokia. Nokia can't go Symbian because it's hard for developers to create apps for each and every Symbian OS and the old apps don't work in a latest compilation of the Symbian OS. Symbian was the best OS, it had every basic things but nothing lives forever. Sailfish OS looks promising and i think Nokia would fit in that picture perfectly, keeping their Windows Phone business aside. But Microsoft won't let Nokia have any other competitive OS until 2016. Nokia hardwares are the best phone hardwares in the world, it's without a doubt. Microsoft must come out of their mentality and improve the OS ASAP and it seems like they are working on it. Nokia's fate is in the hands on Microsoft now.

if we look from this point then this could be the right option bcoz if nokia uses the andriod OS. then samsung will be crying will star conflict between google and samsung.and google wanted nokia to the first company to be using andriod os. but nokia did not like the idea. and window 8 OS is somewhat helping nokia to be in the market.may be people is brain washed by samsung...
lets hope for the best...

Nokia make very nice phone and design. Just the operating system make us hate Nokia. Maybe,if they have more apps like Apple, and Google, they will win. I install Android on my Nokia n9, And it runs smoothly and I have a lot of hd games and apps. Just the calling and camera are not functional in this time. Nokia should wake up because many people are leaving Nokia and go for Android and IOS. I think, I will get the new Jolla Phone. Sailfish OS has the combine of two Android and Meego.

I have waited for for 2.5 years thinking nokia will start shipping android but they seem to be in love with windows, so much in love that they are ready for death even after the fact that once not a long while ago they were best the mobile manufacturer!
I hope they opt for android then hands down my next smartphone will be a android-powered Nokia smartphone, will eagerly wait for that day....

That's exactly what I've been telling the ppl around me. But I may argue that the mere fact that ppl love may be reason enough for Nokia to jump into the mainstream bandwagon, Android that is, just for us to have choice in the Nokia line of smartphones. It's never too late & I bet they'll soon be up there rubbing shoulders with Samsung & Sony and above HTC, LG & Huawei.

Nokia have no choice but to release android phone or they will lose market share further . Windows phone lacks apps that are appealing! They could buy time with android phone until windows can really compete head on with iOS and android.

Nokia should adopt android. I'm not saying drop the idea of Microsoft. Look sony, samsung, Htc they using both os. Nokia try android otherwise microsoft will eat u. Now Nokia market in window 80%. If Nokia come automatically Htc, Samsung, Sony they decrease the price. Because Nokia is king. Nokia plz use android. We indians want nokia again :)

I love the exclusivity of nokia witb wp. I have been trying to convince myself to like ios of ip5, forget about android, but still, if one has used wp, u will never want any other OS.
