I would so buy nokia if they were android.... I miss nokia phones they were made with quality..... But hardware is not always everything.... Software is more important. If it was supported like android then it would be great

Please stop with this Nokia Android thing. Stephen Elop is committed to Windows. Like Busta Rhymes once said, if you can't be part of the greatest (Android, iOS), you gotta be the greatest yourself! And Nokia will accomplish that, especially when they release the Elvis (hopefully to be nano-tech waterproof) which they bought the patent for. Remember, Nokia will never lose because it provides licenses to many of it's patents. Sure people are a little skeptical at first with new OS, but that's what happened with Windows 7. But everyone now loves Windows 7 but talk smack about Windows 8. Eventually, when the world is slowly being dominated by Windows 8 PC's, they'll get accustomed to the software, and will feel that they should have a mobile device that can relate very easily. Remember... Xbox, Xbox Glass, Bing. Even iOS is jumping the bandwagon from google search to bing search.
ANYONE who mentions Android doesn't understand the security vulnerabilities of their Android device. Which are most people because all humans are idiots. The End.

I have a suggestion to GSMARENA. Why not make a section for poll, a survey (with multiple choices), like and dislike for those making the comments on the topic. Your site will be come some kind of serious yard stick tool for phone/OS makers before their can even flip ON their brain switch, yeh ?

been using Nokia since my first phone.. a brick solid 5110.. My last was an N9.. Only reason I moved over to a Samsung Note 2 was Android and Nokia's mule-like stubbornness to stick to Windows.. Even Meego's Sailorfish would have made me stay..
I still miss Nokia's unmatched screen legibility and camera (from my n8)..

If Nokia manufacturing Android devices, your content as Here Maps and City Lens may be pirated, as was done with the "iGo My Way".
Is this the reason that discourages some companies like Nokia and Blackberry switch to Android.

The main problem is THEY DONT WANNA PAY A DIME.
And believes Android is the Robin Hood of the Technology and grab everything for free.
Oh and lot or super-needed customization and a lots of wallpapers, ROMS, Roots, useless apps on the market for not to mention thousands of Malware and Virus apps hehehe
