Google Pixel 8a vs. Pixel 8

How does Google's latest 'a' model compare to the regular Pixel 8.

For me, the huge bezels and slow charging speed immediately ruled out the 8a, and I bought the 8 on sale. It's the best phone I've owned. Seeing its charging speed compared to my 6a reinforced that I made the right decision.

    Long story short:
    - NOW: 8 ---> because it has better value.
    - LATER: 8a ---> Will go down in price to $350-375 (just like the Pixel 7a right now) but that will be ~10 months from now according to most price trackers.
    - If you're in the US (& don't have $500 but need a phone now) ---> Get Galaxy A35/A54
    - If you're outside the US ---> Get Galaxy A55

    I don't recommend going for the Pixel 7a due to it's unacceptable battery life.

      Did Google purposely made the bezels on the 8a look horrible? Because it does, and even entry level xiaomi and Oppo phones looks better.
