However, Edward Snowden's leaks show these companies secretly share the data with the American gov. Huawei's network business expansion to build telecom infrastructure everywhere threatens that access given Huawei won't spy for the US.

The Chinese are really killing Samsung in the hardware department. At this point, the only reason for me to look at Samsung in the first place is OneUI and DeX. I know Huawei and Honor made an equally-capable EMUI Desktop and Magic Desktop feature. I've been using EMUI Desktop on my Huawei Mate 20 and it's still a belter.

For all the moaning and groaning just buy a Huawei phone. If your lucky, the CCP will invite you for dinner after they scan everything on it. You might take a minute and figure out why they were banned. And that they are things more important than a which phone you can have.

Plenty of my colleagues have Huawei flagship phones and none that I know of has got such a deal. In fact at least a couple of my work colleagues paid more than the official retail price for the Huawei mate 60 pro as it wasn't available directly from Huawei due to a lack of chip supply

1. Create a market segment of advanced technologirs that no other competition exists.
2. Invest and improve on the hardware and software (50-90% more on the later as it's cheaper on R&D over 5ge entire fiscal balance sheet: you can always segment coding at a cheaper price).
3. Create demand on a global scale ahead of the competition.
4. Sell last years tech to competitiors failing to get into the market segment or just wanting to.
- thsi increases consumer awareness and thus demand. Those that want quality will ALWAYS pay top dollar!!
5. Sell as many components to competitors as possible !
- this increases overall profits and lowers your R&D.
6. When you significant control thr global market the pace of R&D spending can be drastically reduced.
- also means using older hardware further refined by SW improvements males an overall better produ t when other hardware that's cheaper can be refined.
> let the competition catch up or surpass you!
- allows any potential monopoly litigation just dissapear!!
7. Do ALL the above especially when you can sell every competitor at least 10 components foe every 1 of their finished products in ANY market segment.
