These are their respective predecessors:
Edge 40 Neo -> Edge 50 Fusion
Edge 40 -> Edge 50 Pro
Edge 40 Pro -> Edge 50 Ultra (kind of, the chip is a slight downgrade)

    why there is no 50 neo i'll never know.
    40 was decent spec and just needed an improvement in some areas.

      There should be an option in the phone finder to filter between flat and curved screens.

                I prefer the dark gray because its cam bump is not covered by " leather"

                    Anonymous, 02 Jun 2024All it depend upon the processor.Badly made apps can make even the Apple M4 or AMD Zen4 processor lag.

                      rizki1, 02 Jun 20247s Gen 2 is powerful enough for daily apps for the next 3 y... more7s gen 2 is a decent chip, but 7 gen 3 is a much much better chip. The difference in CPU peak performance may not be very large (15%) but the GPU peak performance is 80-90% higher.

                      More important than peak performance, however, is the performance efficiency. 7 gen 3 provides around 20-25% more performance at the same power, or consumes 30-40% lower power at the same performance. In GPU tasks, the differential will be even higher. So there will be substantial impact in terms of thermals as well as battery life.

                      Thus, even for a casual user, 7 gen 3 makes sense if their budget allows for it. Going any higher yields diminishing returns for users and may not be worth it for a casual user.

                        Anonymous, 02 Jun 2024All it depend upon the processor.7s Gen 2 is powerful enough for daily apps for the next 3 years. If the battery life test on GSMArena is bad, wait on YouTube to see if it's also bad.

                          Strange, the Middle-East version of the 50 Fusion, which is now available, has a baseline storage of 512 gb and 12 gb ram, and has the Snapdragon 7plus Gen 2 processor.
                          Perhaps this variant will launch in other countries as "Power"?
