Bezel-less, with a giant hole in the screen. Great.

I'll have to admit, this is one thing I do admire about Apple: the pursuit of the absolute.

The Underdog, 03 Jun 2024The Pixel 8a is not impressed. You really picked the worst phone to compare dude. That thing has giant bezels, on top of ugly rounded corners.

Guess they once again have nothing else to show off, so out come the pointless stats. Does anybody care about thinner bezels? At this point anything less is a crutch more than anything anyways, not to mention that the Dynamic Island is still way more intrusive than other solutions, even worse than the previously used Notch.

I don’t understand Apple’s fascination and obsession with thinness. It’s good only to a certain aspect.

Still in immaculate condition running the latest official update from two years ago. It's so sad no one makes a similar gorgeous phone anymore. I'll sadly likely move on to iPhone 16 pro this year and give iOS a shot for the first time.

Didn't like flat boxy sides cuz it feels bulky when i hold it.. i had huawei p40 it has larger bezels but holding feels more comfy than iphones and s22-24 phones

A difference between 0.2 mm and 0.3 mm is a 66% difference but in real life it makes no difference. Instead I'm waiting on the terrible dynamic island to disappear completely. Steve Jobs would have never accepted such a gross design of the iPhone

Bojank91, 03 Jun 2024Accidental touchesiPhones have palm rejection, I know that’s difficult to grasp for Android users. You need to try it to understand it

Also it’s a bigger decrease in bezel size than 14 pro to 15 pro which is already incredibly noticeable. This will be great if true but only worry it with the slimmer bezels the gigantic hole in the middle is going to look even worse than it did on the 15 pro

And the Galaxy S25 series probably will go thinner than the iPhone 16 series with bezels, it's the same qith display brightness. I don't care that much about the extremely thin bezels, but if you compare iPhone 14 and 15 or Galaxy 24 and S23 it is noticeable for sure.

You say the difference is not huge but that is like a 40% reduction. If a new phone processor was 40% faster these days it would be an amazing improvement
