    >downclocked/super conservative clocks on the chip
    >500 mah more battery.
    >Flagship chip that's likely more efficient.

When you factor in all of those, it's no wonder that the mark VI lasts so long. Besides, the android vesion is barebones. Even Asus can do good numbers because of the barebones skin, look at the Zenfone 10 for example.

Much smaller battery, still better results than xiaomi.

I just did a quick search on Youtube though and found battery comparison tests for the Edge 50 Fusion and Edge 50 Pro. Both did very well on the battery drain tests. The Edge 50 pro with its 4500mAh battery comfortably beat the Redmi note 13 pro+, Poco x6 pro and Realme 12 pro. I know these phones obviously don't have the same chips but I definitely think Motorola is pretty good for battery life in general. Based on my own experience as a user of Motorola and Xiaomi, I think Motorola is better for battery optimisation. Note surprised by this outperforming the Poco F6

The impressive gaming score makes up for the poor web browsing score? I'd suggest that the majority of users spend more time on their phones browsing than playing games.

Those are some GREAT numbers, specially when you consider the 4500 mah battery. They get way better results than POCO F6 which has a higher 5000 mah unit! That's what clean Android does to you.

Look at how much better this Motos battery life is with a 4.5k battery and the Snap 8s Gen 3 compared to what Xiaomi could do with the Poco F6 and it's 5k battery and the same 8s Gen 3.

What are Xiaomi doing with their battery life? Is it all the ads in HyperOS? Is it just bad optimization?

Whatever it is, Xiaomi need to sort their BS out.
