CMF Buds (first iteration) had actual optical sensors in buds which were above the cost range during that point.

And a pretty bad a*s design if I say so myself, unique and nice (to some like me lol). The CMF seems like it'll be an industrial mess looking design.

But yes, I remember there was a time when phones as low as $200 had a flagship chipset. Specifically 2015-2016. God, that was the golden age of "flagship killers". We had phones like like the LeEco Le Max 2, which could be bought for around $200 or less.

It will be just a bland phone and 'nothing' else. Having no glyph interface will make it a standard cheap phone, and I don't really know if they're joking by saying it has 6 GB RAM. This phone will probably be best for all the budget ballers who are crazy for nothing OS and their Dot-Matrix UI/UX. 'Nothing' to say atleast for now.

I will wait and give them the benefit of doubt if they can give something unique in that price range. The devices in that price range has become so bland, monotonous and uninspiring. It is engineered like that to push people to expensive devices, but something fun and exciting under 300usd/ 20k inr hasn't been available for a long time.
