Hold on hold on!
The non Pro is better than the Pro. These Pro labels are suffering from tech inflation and even on the high end of Pro devices are downraded or they use mostly last years hardware. Just take a look of motorola Edge 50 series or Samsung S line (mostly Global)

X6 Pro is the obvious winner. I mean, the same performance for a 20%+ discount? I'm in!
Plus, Benchmark scores don't translate to real world performance. The 8S Gen 3 will surely throttle on heavy gaming sessions. The D8300U won't (it will, but not noticeably).

More efficient soc but less battery, who other than xiaomi can achieve this record? The game battery life is only close because of developer targeting qualcomm more.

D8300 ultra has higher clockspeeds than SD 8s gen 3 though.
Im using Poco x6 pro right now and can attest that it can handle graphic intense games. Ive been playing genshin impact on highest settings and have stable 60fps so far.

I think the only good side for F6 is that Snapdragon's graphic cards are more optimized when it comes to emulator games.

                1. Since the F6 using Snapdragon, it will got more custom ROM.
                2. In fact, Poco F series custom ROM has one of the widest selection.
                3. The F6 will got 3 OS update + 1 more year security update.

Great review. The X6 Pro offers great value for non-gamers.

Never thought the SD chipset would be more power hungry than the D8300 :o

                      X6 pro is still king.
In india the price difference is 7-8k between them so It's obvious to go with x6 pro

X6 Pro is very, very cheap right now. I've seen it at nearly the same price of the regular X6. Or at same price as the Samsung A35/Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G. For gaming in a really low budget it is unbeatable.
I do find the F6 to be better overall. Only loses in pricing IMO. And battery life, according to this site. I'd rely on more reviewers for that particular aspect though.
