Never trust Intel.
They brought Meteor Lake saying its a revolution.
But test results showed minimal gains compared to previous gen.
Its all marketing...
I still use my 10 year old laptop for all my daily tasks

Everything okay but 32GB built in RAM VS Apple which can go as high as 96 is definitely a fail.
Would love to have a Laptop with 128 or 256GB ram but this wont be possible anymore and 32GB in certain games is definitely not enough.
Playing Assassins creed Walhalla at 70% of maximum performance with Lenovo Legion with Ryzen 7 CPU, 32GB ram and Geforce 3070 RTX 8GB along with 2,5K screen and 1TB SSD. Its not enough. When i improve to 100% game is laggy a little.
When i play doom eternal on maximum details game is also laggy a little more than it should be especially in big arena full of monsters using plasma cannon or BFG.

great, it seems that in a couple of years, it'd hard to find a laptop with upgradable ram and storage -_-, these 2 don't consume much power. less RGB and more upgradable crap...

TSMC might make it pricey and limited availability this go-around. Next year's Panther Lake on Intel 18A will certainly be more interesting....hoping they can be competitive with TSMC!

Tech Guy, 05 Jun 2024As you know, TSMC uses great cost in making these chips, so... moreIt's Niche cpu obvious it's going to be expensive, it target fan less and ultrabook 1000+ usd. But same architecture will be available with Arrow lake or successor of Alderlake N, there we will get cheaper alternative.

It's all about the software Linux allready runs on all ISAs gracefully all AI infrastructure is on the platform already but oldy windows is a poor x86 32bit OS, Intels new APX need to have a completely new subsystem on windows, Microsoft only showed up on Qualcomm event strange

I wonder how much of the improvement is just using a 3nm fabrication from TSMC. Have my doubts that this will be cheap if TSMC is doing the production as Intel will have to add their markup.

i am interested in this chip.

                      AI the new marketing 😂

                        looks promising

lets see how good the availability will be, since now TSMC is the manufacturer.

Wow. That product seems very appealing. The processor is faster and much more efficient, with E-cores matching Raptor Lake. That's a lot of performance for Atom-class components. We were stuck with Skylake-like performance before. It's a big leap. The new GPU seems great too, fully featured. That looks like a strong Snapdragon X competitor (and benefits from being x86-64, so no emulation penalty or compatibility issues).

I hope Arrow Lake is as impressive.

I am happy that Intel finally got serious and stole the show like this. Competition is so good. And my favourite companies (AMD, Qualcomm, Intel, Nvidia for AI stuff, ARM and Mediatek) are playing tough. I wish them to be successful.

As you know, TSMC uses great cost in making these chips, so it's going to be pricier than you expect 10-18% cost increase then previous rather than 5%

Intel finally decides to face Apple's M series.
                                    I'm curious how it goes

                                      so it's an ai chip?
