            It could also be possible that Carl is waiting for the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC to arrive. That would be a hugely sizeable upgrade from the current Nothing Phone 2 with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

                  Phone 2 priced close to snapdragon 8 gen 2 flagship/flagship killer phones when it had 8+ gen 1, completely outclassed.

                  2a... Gets completely dumpstered by Oneplus Ace 3v and Poco F6.

                  Nothing's needs to up the processor game, releasing weak phones is not competitive.

                    Well a good move AI is not that impressive in phones yet and i really wonder if it ever be.
                    If i can say FCK AI and do what you do best a phone with lot of lights and crazy good nothing OS.

The nothing phone 3 should be a great upgrade for nothing phone 1 customer, maybe worth it for phone 2 but not required. though since nothing is such a small company, they need to be releasing new phones, getting in the media spotlight, and bringing in new customers

                          This reminds me of the HMD era Nokia they had some flagships that were outdated but eventually gave up and just started to release trash. Hope Nothing doesn't end up the same.
