i think more problem is due to over price.reducing price is necessary.otherwise shud go for statergies of other os like ubuntu, sailfish.ubuntu is futuristic os wic deals meego,bb10,sailfish like(similar) ui and much of the linux users are using ubuntu on pc(rank:ubuntu, then mint,debian,fedora,...). already support android apps. So bb10 is stil aliv so thinking about apps is much better statergy.not requires tons of apps.just requires good apps.for nokia... meego is dead lik ther is no newer best apps, so bb10 u r stil alive try to extend ur good luck.but i am not a bb10 user.using meego(nokia n9)which is better than other ui(eg. Touchwiz).

The features, performance, apps or lack of apps ..... all are irrelevant. BlackBerry are a commercial enterprise without depth; they sell phones and diversity is limited to their Playbook.
In what has become, at warp speed, a mature market, BlackBerry cannot compete with the likes of Samsung whose R&D into TV alone make the Canadians non starters. Broadening the scope of this subject, can Apple compete either? Not a given.
Returning to BlackBerry and ignoring the miracle that they are still here, the only future is to slap on some make-up, get a new bra, and get out there dating. BlackBerry need a well heeled suitor prepared to bring not only an enviable dowry but healthy genes and some street cred.
I sit here waiting for the mailman to deliver my invite to the reception.

Lumias are really good.
GDR2 update will increase 20% of sales overall for sure
Nokia will breach 25% of market share by 2015
Nokia cant Kill android
WebOS in next 10years CAN if it lives... it has a really different approach, UI and still opensource
RIM should have taken WebOS :( anyway its dead...
If apple starts licensing its OS, BB can win for sure... apple in that case should follow Microsoft strategy. Licensing iOS to any one OEM
Anyway android will kill itself because of its disease inherited by EVIL GOOGLE

AnonD-58835, 03 Jul 2013Blackberry sales of new bb10 is almost zero. IT has a price... moreDefinitely false.
They've sold/shipped 2,7 million BB10 phones for the last quarter.
BB10 is a very nice OS. But I gotta agree that the devices are overpriced. Just based on the hardware alone, they've should have priced BB10 phones the same or lower than Nokia's flagship phones.

Anonymous, 04 Jul 2013Got footnotes to support that? Of course I am posting from ... moreBB10 is no longer secure.
BB7 is a ton better and secure for businessmen needs.
BB10 they try to alienate the businessmen, and go for main stream end users.
Big mistake.. most of the people just tried and found nothing new or niche.. and returned to apple/android world.

The new BlackBerry OS 10 is very advance, fast and beautiful. I feel some of its gestures are copied from n9 though. Just check a Z10 or Q10 and you will be amazed how well made it is and its features. I was not a fan of BlackBerry but when I checked this device I preferred it over Android Htc One or S3 and the top of all loved its Real Time Multitasking and messaging hub.
