I have LTE active, irregular heartbeat detection on, all advanced sleep features on, I manually forced blood pressure monitoring active and use it at least 2x a day, and I probably have one phone call and a few minor tasks every day and I'm getting almost exactly 3.5 days per charge, and I charge alt 15%. You're asking for double the 590mAh? 1,180mAh? Are you cool wearing a watch that's effectively twice the mass of your current one? I have opened up 3 watch 5 Pro's and once you pop the main board off, the rest of the watch is essentially a battery compartment. Google the GW5 Pro teardown and see. That's an absurd request and I hope they never even come close. What is so difficult about using the included fast charger and sticking it on there for 47 minutes, once every 3 days and nights? Do you have a 10,000mAh phone? You probably charge your phone every single day yet you ask for a literal Galaxy Brick watch? Maybe you should just not buy a watch until someone makes a 1k mAh battery. They charge too fast for the need to increase the capacity. So long as it gets at least ONE DAY battery, they'll make it and sell millions of them. Most people don't have a problem charging their battery operated personal devices. Good luck with your holdout! 👍🏻

Still waiting if there's a blood glucose monitor. Aside from potential bezel, I see no reason to upgrade from my watch 5 pro. If only they could double the battery life...

Anonymous, 07 Jun 2024really really really wanted a square oled screen :/Square screens on watches look terrible imho. 1980's flash backs. Probably more practical in some instances but that's what a phone is for. I only have the Samsung Watch 6. Next time round i might go one with a rotating bezel.

Battery capacity is frozen from last year but memory and everything else improves? Does Samsung not get that battery life is a key reason for people not buying a smartwatch? The competition are increasing capacity and they keep it the same hoping the chipset makes all the battery gains.

Hopefully th... moreI get that bigger watches get a bigger battery but the difference between the 40mm and 44mm is 40% more battery capacity?! Seems like a big disparity. Just because you have a smaller wrist you shouldn't be penalised that much on battery life.
I have my doubts on health metric accuracy. Samsung keep using the same rubbish sensor year after year and lag far behind the competition.

I am still waiting since Galaxy Gear S :) Although everybody will say it is a copy, the best smart watch design for me personaly is the Apples's one. Make it like the last one Apple watch 9 45 mm in length and 38 mm in width and I and many more people will buy it. Square screen shows more information and is far more convenient for viewing it. It is also far better in engineering point
of view as it offers more space for bigger battery and more electronics. Of course the round design has its loyal fans too, so make two variants square and a round one and a smaller 40 mm version for women. This would be the best move by Samsung.

Samsung or others manufactures creating 40 inch screen too, choices for many people. I do not understand why need to be displeased and babble if is a lot of choices. Do not like smartwatches? Enjoy your simple watch. Where is problem if someone like smartwatch with big screen? In the world live billion people they all have own needs, enjoy yours and let other people enjoy own.

That's why is 47 inch screen. I do not understand why need 75 inch TV, but somebody have big house where maybe wants to have personal cinema theatre so... in the world there are many different people, respect they choices they will respect yours decisions.

Same issue with small wrists and ridiculously oversized smart watch, genuinely debating on switching to apple unless they finally allow apple watches to work with android.

KingF, 07 Jun 2024I don't understand one thing. 47mm is way too big fo... morei presume it is easier to fit a larger battery in a larger body, but i fully agree, i really wanted the 6 classic but 47mm was huge on my wrist, this one is going to look even bulkier being rectangular...it is sad that no matter the spec it wont be an available option for me, and i think i have a pretty regular wrist
