Your brain must be degenerating so much that you actually believe normal people remember tons of different passwords for their different login needs.

I would only use this if I want to make sure that my passwords are not found in a data breach. But even then, great open source alternatives exist & you can use them inside of a well-sealed Linux VM that is not connected to the internet.

The issue with the open source alternatives is they won't be as convenient simply because they don't access the system-level APIs (that only Apple, Google & Microsoft have access to) you'd have to manually copy text from one screen to another (which is a bit inconvenient for long randomized passwords)

I didn't know peoples' brains degenerated that much to need a corporation to manage their passwords.

Very curious how good this will actually be

the point of passkeys is to make it more secure and eliminate passwords

Proton Pass and Bitwarden manage passkeys securely and you have access to your security key, scammers and the Chinese who already have keyloggers in keyboard apps rejoice

an open standard passkeys compatible is also Proton Pass just make sure the security keys are kept safe so you don't get locked out and can't be reset, as usual google microsoft apple takes care of your security key and access all your information and sites

this is great to be honest. I love keychain even though I only have it on my mac and perhaps with cassia it'll be possible to run the windows app on android

Nice, as a long time user of keychain I’ve been hoping they do something like this.

Bitwarden is the only good password manager.

                                    Looking great.

No mention of Bitwarden? Which also happens to have an option for self-hosting?
