WWDC 2024 instantly became more exciting.

I was interested until I saw the cloud based processing bit. Anything cloud based is a NO for me.

    Clever marketing no doubt!
    But I would watch WWDC not for their AI stuff but more for the visual overhaul of the os and maybe more ease of use
    I bet they will glorify AI for their os improvement

      Can't even make an OS without bugs. Riddled with bugs since ios 15. Now will be provided with AI bugs. iOS 17 bugs are not even resolved yet. Just has turned to embarassment. Even Ad riddled MI/Hyper Os is bug free.

        The use of generative AI to generate emojis sounds interesting. I wonder if they’ll show up on non-Apple devices… probably not, lol.

                Anonymous, 07 Jun 2024You have such a strong strategy planned.Betas are very unstable and can drain a battery in less than 5 hours, imagine what it would do to an XR with 90% BH. My XR is my lower priotity, so if anything oes wrong, its gonna take the fall lol.

                    How does it make the WWDC more exciting? Judging by Siri and Apples incompetence in adding basic features, I would be very careful about this being any good

                          After Samsung called their AI "Advanced Intelligence", Apple had to follow with an own interpretation of AI.

                            Ok, so they do what has already been done + custom emojis.. So innovative, so Apple..

                              Seriously hoping battery life improves for iPhones 11 and 12, maybe if XR and XS (and XS Max) trio makes it in too.

                              However, I will be turning off all of these features when they release in November. I will employ iOS 18 beta on my old XR, while my newer 12 will wait.
