Consoles are getting more useless and useless as mini PCs exist more...

Mills, 10 Jun 2024Would get a PC tbh. You can spend 2 times (905 USD) and get... moreSaid 3700X inside the console performs like an 1800X as well.

          Would get a PC tbh. You can spend 2 times (905 USD) and get a 5800X + 6750XT build with 1TB SSD and 32GB DDR4. If you go DDR5, that could be a 5600X and a 7600.

The CPU in a Series X is believed to be a 3700X and for the GPU, it's a 6700 XT or 3070. 6750 XT is just overclocked and the 57/800X does better than 3700X. Here's the PCPartPicker Build:

They shouldve released the series s with a discdrive instead.

Hard pass. If you can learn to finish games and actually manage your storage you'll save way too much money. Thought they'd at least have a tiny bit of a power upgrade but no. So I'll pass entirely. My storage is fine, not perfect and I have to shift things here and there but honestly I'm sure most of us can manage in all fairness.

this is pointless who need this trash again the same price but no disc reader!? Sony did smarter they release a pro model in Q4 to balance call off duty 6 in game pass and this is smart because i buy the Playstation 5 pro and the game,i want play a better console over cheap games!

I would rather spend 2-5 times the price and get a PC :)

Digital only with 1TB might sound decent, but with how bloated the new call of duty seems to be (300+ GB!) that size could actually end up only having room for maybe 5 games...

Although I do put more blame there on developers for unnecessarily bloated games. The conspiracy theory that I do have some belief in is that it's because these live-service model games really want to discourage you from installing other competitors or uninstalling their game so that you stay hooked in THEIR skinner box rather than OTHER skinner boxes.

MakeMotoBetterAgain, 10 Jun 2024nobody pays 600 for a console, period.I have bad news for you. Especially if that overpriced junk is the only one with a disc drive.

you should've put the original ones msrp as a benchmark to see how greedy they're being...
