Ugh why can't they put a 1" sensor in there already and bring it to the US market. Why no one wants to bring it here I don't understand.

notafanboy, 11 Jun 2024"3x periscope zoom camera will go with the IMX882 inst... moreOneplus 12 telephoto camera allows up to 6x "lossless digital zoom" from base 3x.
It is possible that with Oneplus 13 it can go "lossless digital zoom" only to 4-5x from base 3x but we will see.
Honestly i fear that some ways camera on the 13 will be worse and rumored lack of wireless charging(i sometimes charge my qi smartwatch with phone when i do not have regular qi charger with me).

"3x periscope zoom camera will go with the IMX882 instead"
Is that good? I mean, is the IMX882 better than the OV64b?

Seeing a lot of 6,000 mAh batteries in upcoming flagships, it sounds like 8 Gen 4 is not efficient at all compared to past years, and yet they will market it as such in their promotional material "20% more efficient than last year"

So the main sensor will be the same as the OP12. I guess if it ain't broke don't fix ethos is what OnePlus are going for and they're not ready to enter the 1" sensor market quite just yet...
In that case will look to the Oppo Find X8 Ultra which will be more widely available now they've sorted out the patent issue with Nokia.
