Darth Caesium, 11 Jun 2024They're not even the same company internally anymore. ... moreYour logic

Htc shows up 1 day before event = desperate for attention

Pixel and Galaxy S show up 6 months before their events = they need to work better to avoid leaks

UFS 4 storage from the likes of X6 Pro cannot be used to the fullest due to usb 2.0 protocol.

Google's hardware team has almost all of HTC's former developers (as well as some of LG's ones) and they no longer prioritise on what the company used to do, which was compact phones. Like, come on, please make a 5.8" phone that also is better than the Asus Zenfone 10, this is what your entire brand was built upon. The problem is, is that HTC is now owned by a Chinese ODM that wants to operate the company in an extremely predictable (and stupid) way while failing to actually provide even a decent product when everything they do is generic.

Edit: Also, this "leak" is basically done by HTC themselves to try to drum up hype before they release the phone tomorrow. A phone that needs this artificially generated hype because nobody would know about it, and in several years' time nobody would remember it or even miss it. I mean, who tf even does 2× telephoto lenses on phones anymore, when you can just take a centre crop and have almost the same quality of pictures instead?

I'd love a curved screen, just wondering until when updates are supported because from what I remember, this wasn't very long (if any) with HTC.

Dead phone from a dead company. HTC's corpse has been dragged across from the grave for miles, and it's 99% disintegrated, and they're still dragging the remaining skin and bones across the tarmac, with HTC's remaining portions of its head repeatedly bouncing off of the ground.

Let's stop with the stupid curved screens now. Even Samsung has finally realised curved screens suck.
