I often so people happy to say they only go out with a phone, and no wallets of keys.
Yes, but what if you misplaced it somewhere? If it gets stolen? If the battery dies out? If there was a storm and you had no electricity for two days?
Having everything on your phone isn't really the best strategy.

So cool. The cops will ask your phone to check your ID and take your phone in their police car. With no phone you cannot call your layer nor record any police abuse. Besides they may have a scanner made in Israel to copy all your phone memory in the police computer and search for incriminatory data before to be accused for a crime.

The same silly comments that I read 10 years ago about mobile phone payments I am reading again now about mobile phone ID cards. This is supposed to be a technology site, we don't need to hear how you believe this thing will lead to the end of the world. Grow up.

"Passengers are still required to bring their physical ID at airports and venues as there are no laws that mandate accepting digital IDs for businesses or law enforcement."
Don't really see the whole point of it then.

i wonder how quickly the number of phone thefts goes vertical, and then for the number of reported ID thefts.
