Already pushing 30 watts 15v 2 amps PD in those uncertified thin gauge - big braided twisted 3meters long usb cable is not something I would call safe at all.
I guess if it was that smart, everybody, every brand, every EV, would have multiplied again and again. And they won't.

PS, I often hold even 12.5'' tablet in 1 hand, its not so bad if you Need...
What I feel more is the size of phone - height - its not a thickness in any way.
Sometime I use battery case which like doubles its thickness - surprisingly its wearable without any problem.
Problem is that if its not integrated, you need more space, battery and it also creates more heat.
Well, at least Vivo can do it, so its not mission impossible.
More than that, I wish someone to go beyond what Vivo does, not just catching up.
Apple like way of using limited hw for some parts like sensor size, battery size, hope we wont end up like that...

99% of people will never notice a difference. They don't play games all day long on their phones, and just charge it a couple of times a week.

Even if I remember early camera-phone days, taking pictures was eating big chunks of battery.
For what all we do on the phone, most importantly when going into the wilderness where is no time or place to charge your phone, 5000mAh is just not enough now.
While some lag in fast 200W charging, which can of course help a lot, in some cases pure endurance is important too.
Looking back, every new phone I bought have seen something like +1000mAh battery increase, which happens like every 3 years.
Well, at least for ultra specs, performance and price, there is certainly need to upgrade it as its the basic component of more and more used phone as a media/camera device.

Unless you're only making calls while the screen is off. Then the tablet would win big time.

The only choice looks to be tablet category lol.
Well, they could take Doogee s98 pro as an inspiration, be it for battery or cameras.
so much for being a ''flagship'' without flagship technology.

just got the vanilla S23 (passed on the S24 cause it's the Exynos variant in my country) and battery life is really good, so 4000mah is really perfect also to keep it small and lightweight 👍👍👍 (didn't like the sharp edges tho)

Keeping the device light and compact but still with a battery that will last all day. As long as the screen isnt too demanding, coupled with the speed these can charge back up in 30 mins. id say thats a fair balance. It wont win any stamina awards but it isnt going to be a problem either.

Battery capacity is one thing.
Charging Wasttage and speed is another - the Chinese competiros are far ahead on that.
Having devices charged at 90W (wired), reaching 100% within 30 min with a 5000mAh battery.
Galaxy has made no progress on that front.

Until then, you’re comparing Apple and Oranges. In reality, Samsung battery life is pretty good, and efficiency is even better than Xiaomi.

There are tablets that are thinner than your stupid chinese phone and have bigger batteries because of overall volume. Use your brain. And this also works for those citing that thick ass Xperia phone with huge bezels and two cameras.
