I give Apple credit where credits due but there’s a reason my desktop is a Ryzen PC I built myself and my phone is a Galaxy Flip.

When you say PC and mention DOS and stuff, do you mean Apple won’t allow any PC emulation including MS-DOS, or specifically Windows emulation? As there is a way to already run/emulate DOS software on iPad without using AltStore meaning a lot of older PC games also run. Like via the standard App Store.

Long ago.. Steve say iOS run OSX.

Back then, it makes sense that iOS is dumb down because of limited hardware. Now there is totally no reason.

iOS and iPadOS is now very very expensive toys in front of macOS.

I wonder if including a whitelist of executables or something along those lines would get it to pass. DOS, PC-88, and PC-98 all have large libraries of good games that Apple should have no reason to block wholesale.

Big L from Apple. Why does Apple hate the most innovative apps developed for its platforms?

Also, interesting to see no mention of Linux emulation. Windows and DOS is owned by Microsoft, but Linux is free and open source.
