You talking nonsense not me.
Sealed batteries was one of best things people invented along with USB C for everyone, no jack and no SD slot because most of the cards were super slow compared to users phone.

Good that we are getting phones with removable backs once again, but why would the design it to need a tool to remove it?
My 8 year old LG V20 has a removable back, and I only have to press a button on the side to release it (and it has a tool less removable battery too).

Phone companies need to step up their game and bring back the servicability of the phones of yore.

Which even uncertified phones already have, as I've treated my budget Oppo as such. A removable battery cover can still be waterproof if it's given a proper gasket to seal the phone against the elements. The Type-C ports on all water-resistant phones have a simple rubber gasket and that's enough for everyone.

The Samsung S5 is an IP67 phone with a removable back. Having a screwed-on back would probably make it more resistant.

In general. Don't wield your phone stupid, and you won't need any of these certified protections. A case is enough.

Yes it would be good to have removable battery again, I want to be able to replace my battery whenever I can.

I really want this phone to be good, and I think the removable back will be really cool, especially if it makes repairs easier, but I feel like Nothing is going to ruin it by giving this phone a really slow chipset that will be laggy in a couple of years.

While I doubt that this thing will have a replaceable battery (I mean, come on, even ASUS's phones with removable backs didn't allow you to remove the battery), it would be nice if "removable back" in this case also means "replaceable battery". Hoping that's the case, but if not, I guess there's the CMF Phone 2 for that?
