With $349( + tax + shiping) we get a Nexus 4. Without a premium feel, I doubt that, it will no longer be an intelligent decision to buy this cheap( looking)iPhone.

kind of expensive for a cheap looking phone with plastic wrapped around all over. Very toy-ish look. Plastic is ok, but there could be a better implementation of it and better matching of color scheme if they really want a colorful variant available.

I've always believed that Apple would be better off taking the hit and ditching its 3 year iPhone sales cycle.
Just offer the iPhone (4.3" screen) and the iPhone mini (4" screen, plastic case). Just like iPad and iPad Mini.

Wait... so you mean Samnsung and the other Korean company have created something new? I mean besides cheap phones sold as good phones? lol
If Samsung is selling more is becase they're phones are always given away for FREE.
Remember... Samsung makes the phone thats it... so when you say... Samsung would "beat" apple... you actually mean.... Android = Google. Which Samsung does not do anything for or is part of...
The day Samsung creates their own OS then lets talk about Samsung "beating" apple. Meanwhile is just another company selling cheap phones at high prices with an OS NOT made by Samsung.
Remember as well... iphone5 has been sold more than the galaxy 4....
People are buying the galaxy 2 more than any other galaxy phone... reason "its cheaper"....

Only when things go full circle and they return to sliders and clamshells with proper buttons and precision D-PAD will things change again...How the hell can people game with silly tapping at a touchscreen with no precision is beyond me..I hate todays smartfone their boring everytime GSMA announce a new phone its just another boring slab.

Apple will produce a plastic phone and advertise it as a revolutionary product then sue Nokia and Samsung for producing plastic phones before they did

Its going to be most sold smartphone ever and android oems just looking from side how their marketshares going down after this comes.
If it comes this fall, i think the numbers for this year going to be like 80 million only for budget iPhone.
