I think it still have a plastic cover in it so it look glossy, the true back cover will be matte plastic i guess.. Even if this is their 'budget' phone, they wouldn't mess around using cheap materials...

Oh Please Apple you making yourself looking stupid. It's like Apple doesn't know how to make a budget smartphone. For example, the Nokia Lumia 520 costs like 135€ and it has a SD card slot so one can buy a 64GB card to max out the space. Now THAT'S a budget smartphone!

@Popye I think you've never used an iPhone they are the best in software , design and simplicity it has the most apps in their operating systems ! Apple has full control on their software it doesn't need a quad or octa core processor their single core iPhone 4 800 MHz cortex a8 is as fast as an galaxy s3 with a quad core 1.4 GHz cortex a9

If this phone pics are real,then I am sorry but it looks pathetic. Even many chinese knock-offs look way better thank this mockery,forget about any other OEMS.
& how about giving people some real technology to play with rather than these gimmicks.Something really groundbreaking rather than tweaking/copying from other OEMS.
Apple really has lost tremendous ground because of EGO ISSUES. They are like a burnt,dwarf star slowly it will be obliterated cause it is only revolving around itself.

@krugen apple's plastic is well built the texture is a bit changed just take a look at lumia phones with plastic it's better than samsung's plastic
