Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra design change will go further than expected

The phone will move towards a flat panel, saying goodbye to 2.5D curved glass.

And also, apparently many people here, got confused and think that the screen will become curved again. Probably it will stay flat but the corners (if the rumors are true) will become rounded.

      Personally I don't care if it sometimes becomes uncomfortable, but I prefer the square/sharp edges because I hate that the rounded corners, cut the visible content from the screen.

            If I had to venture a guess, I'd say big businesses invested in their 'Galaxy for Work' ecosystem (Knox & Devices) had a large influence on this new design strategy. Now that Galaxy has grown past enthusiasts into corporate, Samsung will bend the knee if it keeps companies with large deployments content.

              That's a good change, the S24 Ultra is terribly uncomfortable to hold, worse than my S23 Ultra WITH A THICK CASE in comparison..

It has rounded ... moreI would propose going back to the S21 series' curved design with the slightly rounder corners of the current S24 series, while still keeping a flat display like the S21 and S21+. The S25 Ultra would, in this design, be like the S21 Ultra with its curved frame and sides but with an S-Pen, a matte Grade 5 titanium frame (not the Grade 2 they currently use) and a flat screen protected by Gorilla Glass Armour surrounded by minimal bezels that are very slightly curved.

                              To choose between all Notes series I had including the S24 Ultra ,last one ,I will be happy again to see a Note phone similar with the Note 8 ,the best one for me!Iris scanner and a nice friendly design!But will be better with a flat screen,optical fingerprint scanner and super fast charging!

                                Why go back to the curve edges again. We users love the boxy design. The curve edges make screen protector use difficult.

                                  So now you gotta pay more and get the fold to stand out, samsung boys.

                                    More curved screens and loss of screen due to rounded corners completely negates the point of Note taking and S-Pen. Just remove the pen and give up on stylus, you've destroyed the legacy of Note.

                                      Yeap, if that's the case it will be the end for the Ultra series for me. There's no way I'm buying a rounded Ultra. The boxy design was what did it for me.
