Report: Apple to make iPhone batteries easier to replace

To comply with EU regulations, Apple will ditch the glue strip on at least one iPhone 16 model.

Phone companies seem pretty aloof considering the deadline is next year.

Hope they can enforce it though. I bought the Cubot P50 for this reason.

        Still hoping for magnetically attached back panel. Open the screws, pull up without much force with a suction cup to remove. Makes back glass replacement and all other repairs easier.
