Will it be a anti reflective screen that samsung use in their flagship devices because the Iphone though having high brightness, isn't legible in bright sunlight in outdoors as compared to Galaxy S 24 ultra.

Apple used to use some of the best LCDs in business on their iPhone models back in the iPhone 5s/ iPhone 6 days. They were so EASY to use under direct sunlight. Colours were super accurate too.
I have a modern day Samsung (2023 model) that struggles to be visible even with display brightness auto boost features turned on (WITHOUT a screen protector that is).
People got on the ambled craze for the deep blacks and rich colours but as someone who valued practicality and durability, that was a big step back imo...

In fact some were completely bezel-less like my Mi Mix 3 that was already 1 years old at the time of the iphone 11 mentioned in the post i replied to. Also sporting a much better screen-to-body ratio than the iphone 11. Iphone x through 12 had a chin-sized, or bezel sized, gaps at the top.
Realistically speaking the iphone x through 12 had so big top centered bezel gaps, calling them 5.8 and 6.1" devices shouldn't even be allowed marketing wise, when such a large part of the diagonally measured area was missing. Same goes for the resolution, with such a large part of the 1792 pixels missing, stating it has 828*1792 (totaling 1483776) was just highly misleading. It didn't have that.
Funny enough, even the budget Realme 7 Pro mentioned by Anonymous @ YUU had a better stb ratio (82.7%) than the iphone 11 (79.0%). Still not great for it's time compared to the Xiaomi Mi 10 (89.8%) and Mi 11 (91.4%), from around the time of the Realme 7 Pro. And still worse than the much older Mi Mix 3 with 85.0% stb ratio, but then again the Realme at least was a budget device. So it was to be expected.

Anonymous, 01 Jul 2024Cufious if both are gonna advertize 2000, 3000 or 4000Hz fl... moreExcept you're wrong, there are several phone tested to have over 500 hz dimming, honor magic v2 even over 2000 hz and when one reads tests one can see it's bfi and not pwm dimming with that frequency, pwm dimming is actually at higher frequency. The problem with panels in samsung, pixel, apple and now sony phones is high modulation width along with low frequency with no dc dimming option.

Samsung AMOLED panels otoh are a pain to read in direct sunlight even with the auto brightness boost enabled. How do I know ? Because I own both ....

Better longevity and higher brightness good as long as we are stuck with OLED which I don’t really like because of burn in potential.
