IpsDisplay, 01 Jul 2024These vague improvements claims as usual Longer lasting... moreAnd what about artifacts like mura and pixel fringing? What about dimming?

Let's just hope those two companies are better to make sure updates are corrected, before ruining the screens like Samsung does to their own phones!

IpsDisplay, 01 Jul 2024These vague improvements claims as usual Longer lasting... moreWell, I just hope that this M14 OLED uses phosphorescent blue LEDs for the blue subpixels, because that would then allow for much better longevity (literally solves most of the burn-in problems!) and much better efficiency (reportedly +90% efficiency!) and even higher brightness. It would honestly make sense if M14 OLEDs were exactly like this, since I don't think it's that easy for Samsung to one-up their already amazing display lineup that they only put out to the market last year, and Samsung *HAS* been trying to put phosphorescent blue LEDs into its OLED panels for a while now; and the technology seems ready to be put out to market by all of the major display manufacturers, including not just Samsung, but also LG, BOE, TCL, etc.

IpsDisplay, 01 Jul 2024Be careful you might get attacked by the compact smartphone... moreI don't care about that, hahahahaha they are like the crybabies with sd card and 3.5 jack, they only cry to cry because of what options they have for them...

Ugh, an excellent iPhone with a 6.9 panel, this means that all Android manufacturers will finally go from the boring size of 6.7 to 6.9 at last... I hope all the high-end ones come with that panel for next year

These vague improvements claims as usual

                  Longer lasting based on what??

Is it degradation based on high brightness?

Did they improve on of the colour pixels themselves (blue red etc) to last longer

How much longer are we talking about?

                  Are the improvements even noticeable?

One thing's for sure price increase will improve
