Anonymous, 06 Jul 2024Just another brick. BoringWhat exactly are you expecting, a globe?

And what, 1080p front camera? Yah no, I’d rather go with Vivo V series, with Zeiss and 50MP on all cameras.

Another marketing crap, another dead brick on arrival, AI my ass 🤣 It will not produce pictures any better than any other midrange in fact it probably will be so overproccesed that nothing will look natural in your pictures, just stay away from these crappy Chinese makers and their AI crap 😜

Everything else doesn't. Especially those [gimmick] ai features.

                Nough said.

Hey it's not my fault realme literally blocked the fastboot mode by default. Oh great! Now you cannot even root the damn phone or install custom ROM. You are stuck with the cheap realme UI which is like a jail that needs to be jailbroken but it's impossible to jailbreak it. You need internet access to install an app. This is just crazy. When will realme be sued for this?

The AI demo pictures show that when hardware is crap the post-processing cannot do much to improve the picture. Adding pixels that don't exist results in a picture of something that doesn't exist. the "original" photo is of low quality, thus the "AI" photo looks like a 90s computer generated 3D animation.

AI image processing samples are not good.

                        No bootloader unlock
                        No root
                        No custom ROM
                        No fun
                        No ips LCD

                        No buy!!!!

NeonHD, 05 Jul 2024I guess I can see what their logic is: when you digitally z... moreYeah, Xiaomi, OPPO and Vivo are doing this already in their flagships. Realme is just jumping on board in the midrange. That's what brands often do anyway. First they bring these features to their flagships and then later allow their midrangers to use it

I would like a comparison of day-night cameras between this phone and the tecno camon 30 premier

I guess I can see what their logic is: when you digitally zoom in to the maximum, the details are practically artificial-looking at that point, so they're saying "why not artificially improve an artificial looking image?"

"the company still hasn’t PUBLICLY set the date for the announcement yet."

So this means you guys are gsmarena already know the launch and announcement date and have the review completed already

What will be the expected price in India

potato4k, 04 Jul 2024And what, 1080p front camera? Yah no, I’d rather go with Vi... moreI rather don't have a front camera, only kills some Pixels in my screen, don't remember if I actually ever used mine in the past 5 year for more than 3 times, as I remember that I did experiment a little.

The colours look massively oversaturated in the indoor shots. Very typical for a Realme phone.

No doubt Realme will be talking up the importance of more expensive camera hardware when its next flagship is announced. It will have no issue with contradicting itself.

In this price segment, investing in the telephoto camera is more meaningful and useful than giving a good ultrawide or macro camera. I think realme did a nice job focusing on the telephoto camera. Hope they bring ip68 next😊
