Realme 13 Pro+ early hands-on and camera samples

04 July 2024
We put the phone's main camera (LYT-701) and 3x periscope (LYT-600) cameras to an early test.

Sort by:

The telephoto closeups were done with the main camera, not the telephoto. It says f/1.88 and not f/2.65. That's exactly why they look like garbage.

I am thinking of they place price for this pone. Already Moto edge 50 Pro with SD 7 gen 3 is shining in that price segment where realme 12 pro plus is placed.

Ridiculous assertion from Realme. When there is a proper macro camera or a good sized sensor?

Please, we need 4K selfie video and an ultrawide of a minimum 12MP to even consider calling your phone a cameraphone.

Anonymous, 04 Jul 2024No matter how good is your camera sample, midranger always ... moreThis AI Clarity feature for me is bad. I don't like those artifacts that it makes

Don't be shy, show us the full back of the phone 😁😁😁

Realme saying that "optics have reached their ceiling" when new technologies are being developed is just marketing to ride the "AI" bandwagon...

And what, 1080p front camera? Yah no, I’d rather go with Vivo V series, with Zeiss and 50MP on all cameras.

Nice to see zoom cams on upper midrange phones

No matter how good is your camera sample, midranger always be midranger. You cannot defy the price, and no AI can help you.

That's one ugly ass model lmao and those AI samples prove why even though AI can make things look more detailed, they aren't necessarily better. The original textures are gone and you get a fake generated look that'll make DXOmark nut as it would remind them of Honor and Huawei but I hope they provide the option to turn the AI mode off and on, best of both worlds.

good thing realme had to stop using a 8MP UW and replaced it with a better 16 MP UW, at least on the Pro+ model
