Iconic Pixel 2 design coming back in a form of 1+ 🤭

Plastic would be fine if it was solid plastic, meaning if it's scratched, it's of same color through the entire material. But they always paint it and have white, black or grey plastic underneath and it just looks horrible when scratched.

              Metal phones are FINALLY back!!!!

Painted metal is the worst. Scratches so easily and it looks horrendous then. Glass, at least white that I prefer can be all scratched up and is hardly visible. Also no fingerprints on white glass. It's why I love white glass phones, they are just so maintenance free and more durable.

I like it, reminds me of the pixel 3

OnePlus making a good comeback, if this design is for Nord, can't imagine a huge revolution for OnePlus 13

Wow a metal back?? Now that makes me more excited for this phone. I hope that OnePlus prices it correctly.

This phone looks like a copy design of Realme Narzo & C Series under INR 10K of India, So Lame. At least should have thought about new design for camera and Nord Series Suitable Design and finish. This will be worst design of 2024 thanks to OnePlus making Oppo Reno 12 series design second worst.

Aluminum back is good for lower weight, though case marks are more prominent because metal is softer than glass so small scratches from dust trapped in a case can appear. Glass back is not necessary on a phone without wireless charging. What would be interesting though is a phone with an aluminum back but with a circle of glass for wireless charging in the middle. May not look as sleek but could be good for weight savings. Another thing to make sure is structural integrity because phones with glass backs are more rigid than ones with aluminum on the back. Though all of these are still better in that regard than plastic. Plastic‘s biggest advantage (apart from cost) is that it is even lighter than both. While it does not crack as bad as glass, or dent as bad as aluminum, the fact that both can happen to it is another factor in terms of durability.

full metal build would've made it an actually good phone, reminiscent of the Oneplus 3/3T.

The Nexus 6P's design is what led to the Pixel designs and I think that phone basically perfected the formula. A different type of component used just for the camera hardware and the rest is metal. Oneplus's one looks kinda cheap like the Pixel 2 imo. No one imo has been able to make premium looking two tone finishes on phones other than Huawei. The Mate10 and P10 to me are design masterclasses. So pretty.

I really love this design, it's something different but also looks like the old smartphones designs but in a good way, besides from Google it's been a while sin a mainstream phone had an horizontal arrangement
