In the past there was a thing called Apple Fanboy.

With these recent posts, I realized that Samsung also developed such braind..d community itself.

It's really funny for me to see these people defending the brand like it's their own. Could be a great psychological study!

I guess that comes from the ego thinking that they know the best therefore they use the best and others cannot criticize the brand that they chose. :)

What a good thing for the brand. You don't even need marketing as there are free slaves out there dying to defend you.

Did you know that people are losing their hearing with the age, limiting it from low end and ultra high end of the frequency? Therefore leading human ears to perceive a limited range rather than 20hz - 20khz???

So you say people using these devices gets sensitive ha? :)

Are you one of those thinking 5g antennas affecting the brain trying to get rid of them during the pandemic? :)

The only thing my buds 2 pro connect to are Samsung devices. Still, the convenience of ramming in an usb-c samsung akg basic headset for a simple phone call trumps those imho.
All my other stuffs and loads of analog equipment are always connected by wire.

Using tws anc stuff all day is insane it clearly infects the brain.

I knew when i tries these; better not use for long.

People discussing them here for 24/7 use on a plethora of devices and therefor concerned about f-ing codecs are seriously lost and senseless.

The problem is actually not with Samsung. The problem is with these f.nb.ys defending it.

They're somehow against Qualcomm codec but they're not against it when samsung uses SD SoC when their Exynos series s.ck. :)

They just can't handle criticism towards the brand they use and its products. I even started to think we have some trolls here or some people they hired to spread bs! :)

space808, 07 Jul 2024As an audio professional and someone who has extensive expe... moreSamsung isn't removing anything. Stop your lies. If Qualcomm or Sony wants their codecs on Samsung devices, there are app stores for that. Sony's LDAC is already possible to use. Samsung is obviously not going to pay any of those two money for preinstalling something that doesn't add any value to the phones or earbuds. It is not their software.

As an audio professional and someone who has extensive experience with wired and wireless earphones and headphones, let me tell you that Samsung does a good job with audio quality, especially since they got AKG to do that job.

The problem is, the artificial and anti-consumer practice of removing other HQ codecs just to prop up SSC. That causes considerable frustration for people who might wanna use a different TWS with Samsung devices or a Samsung TWS with a non-Samsung device. This is why "ecosystems" suck. The whole point of an ecosystem these days is to lock users in and take away choice.

All that being said, Samsung TWS neither are the best sounding in their category, nor the best at other things like ANC, transparency or battery life. They're just good enough.

Anonymous , 06 Jul 2024Hey, I've been having trouble with my Buds2 Pro fallin... moreThere's a good chance they'll do better in that regard. I buy a lot of TWS earbuds, and I generally have an easier time getting a good fit with stem style tws(like the buds pro 3 and airpods pro) vs the regular buds style. Samsung's previous buds are also very round and hard to adjust without accidentally tapping on the controls. That said, you can probably buy a 3rd party eartip to help with the stability on your buds pro 2. Spinfit or foam tips come to mind.

But that is not the case, only Samsung phones support SSC so that high resolution codec is 100% useless on anything but Samsung.
