People always bitch about what the phone looks like at the back, while they keep 99.99% time looking at the front (the screen). To me the looks of the phone don't matter at all. Only the screen and usability.
But Galaxy Watch Ultra is to be worn on a wrist, it's a statement piece, almost an accessory.
I have to tell that as a watch fan for over 30 years I've rarely seen as hideous design for a wristwatch as Watch Ultra is. It's just a mixture of three different design languages on top of each other, completely misses all the eternal beauty design cues like golden ratio and tries hard to emulate military watch style while failing spectacularly.
Hope it performs, because by looks alone it is going to fail.
