I own a Red Magic 6S pro ghost edition.
The only reason I wouldn't buy another one is the Lack of software support and security updates. Compared to the flag ship phones you basically get little to no software and security updates. What a shame other than that I like their phones.

Back then when phones had removable batteries there were sometimes afloating.
Niowdays with sealed batteries having fat battery is not a common issue like back then,
Since 2017 not only fast charging improved but even batteries too.
Now glacier batteries are new thing by OnePlus.
I only waiting for BV100 by a BetaVolt company will be released tot he world.

And yes, it does consume a lot of battery, and there's where the battery stands out very much in this situation, along with the internal fan, and Redmagic Cooler 5.

OLED is a constant upgrading and research platform for every phone to utilize, but at the same time, it will still have the same issue, but only that it minimized the issues, or the triggering of the issue.

As for the battery charges, you can now adjust which level of watts you want to use in the charging setting.

Sam N8 808 owner, 18 Jul 2024"" As for the Red Magic 9S Pro+, people are still... moreThey have the system which you can charge your phone in safe by the battery setting. 30w as normal charges, 15w as safest charges.

In a mean, many phone should have this setting, in order to keep the wear and tear rate low, but well, these are one of their way to earn too, can't be any way fragile

"" As for the Red Magic 9S Pro+, people are still too concerned about the impact that fast charging has on battery longevity, so the 165W charge rate sounds almost like a negative. ""

                  And they're right.
Look at how many Redmi K50i users say their battery is done within 1 year, because they... charge at 120W or so.

I have you a spendid (but obvious) idea.
Use a cheaper, $10 and 15W charger with the phone. Or 33W, whatever you feel is safe.
                  I have a LG G8x, on its 4th year, at 97% health. I never used a charger above 12W (5V 2.4A) and rarely charged 80%+.

Lol, people are so dump. Same as always, same old complains, oled will burn, fast charging will destroy their batteries 🤣 I have seen iPhone batteries degrade by 15% in one year, because people charge them non stop and using while charging. My oneplus 11 with 100w charging speeds downgraded 4% in 1.5 years. Charging once every 2 days or so. Here is your answer 😊

Using 9 Pro and couldn't be much happier. I am not a gamer, hence I enjoy 2 day battery most of the times. Less charging cycle automatically means longevity in battery life. Not big into camera either so doesn't bother me. A better software support would be appreciated for sure. But all the latest specs for 799 plus got $40 off for having an account with the red magic. Ordered the day of release.

Good luck to arm on windows, it took qualcomm 7 years to put a somewhat competent soc on a windows laptop.
Nvidia might do a way better job though. The switch running totk with an ancient 1ghz cpu makes flagship androids running genshin, tof, cod and getting hot and draining battery so fast look like an unoptimized mess.

Real smart consumers always prefer wider choices with healthier competition, not sticking to a brand monopoly or duopoly as if no other brands existed.

Fast charging dock and then hotswappable batteries so the action keeps going. No need to plug in, ever. That and bypass charging. But we can only dream.

SD card removal is also a shame. Coz files like roms, videos and music don't need UFS level of storage. Imagine the library of games you could cram in there while the internal is all reserved to OS updates and native apps and games.

Sad to see consumers embracing backwardness lol.

The Z60 Ultra is a capable mobile photography monster, especially given its relatively affordable pricing compared to its similarly-sized rivals with the same SoC.
