MihaiRo, 12 Jul 2024Watch out guys,Samsung have a surprise for you all but for ... morewell that's for the sporty model anyways so yeah i want to still see that to be fair

Watch out guys,Samsung have a surprise for you all but for the next year:"The rotating bezel is coming back again" as a "new" feature 😂😂😂😂 Copy-paste from one year to another year, nothing new for Samsung despite of course the price!!!

DeepIn2U, 12 Jul 2024Flush thinking. Here is a smarter one: First it is imp... more"it is impractical to use your phone to charge your watch."

No, it absolutely isn't. This is not like a phone, where you have to wait goddamn hours to charge it to full. This is a 500mah battery, not 4500mah. And especially on a WearOS smartwatch that has only around 2 days battery life.

I swear too many on these article forums lack critical thinking or common sense

Nette, 12 Jul 2024I'll pass again this year since compared to last year,... moreif you are using apple watch, how will you switch to watch 7 series with an iphone?,if samsung watch was usable it would have been much better

it's dumb shit like this i feel like switching to iphone 16 pro max instead of samsung s25 ultra, their earphones will be copy-cat(although planar drivers sound interesting, having using them in iem, their watch 7 ultra is inspired copy-cat(they didnt even increase much capacity from 5 pro),they are even rumored to use exynos with s25 ultra (or maybe dual-source them)

I'll pass again this year since compared to last year, the classic, rotating bezel, and unable to use Galaxy S24 Ultra to charge are missing. Sticking to my Apple series 7. Latter is also missing the SpO2 reading in recent phone.

One more reason to keep my 6 classic.

No rotating bezel....bzzzzz PASS! Just like I did on the 5

Just my family case for example : My father goes outside of city for work, sometimes for 5-7 days, and his galaxy watch don't last more than 2 days(obviously). And it happened many times that he forgot to pack watch charger to his bag, so again obviously he charged his watch with the phone.
When the watch does not come with a good battery life, cutting the previously available features for charging/battery life is just scam.

First it is impractical to use your phone to charge your watch. At what specs n timeline would it take previous watches to charge from Samsung phones?@ how long for a useful charge?!

Secondly do you really think this feature n action makes any sense with 500mAh battery on a phone which more than likely has been on and in use at least 40% when needing to charge a watch very slowly.

Such a BS excuse... The fanny part is that Samsung smartwatches are always terribly off with health / fitness related measurements and I'm sure there won't be much of improvement even with the new sensor. So, was it really worth to sacrifice a very important to many people function? After this I really doubt a mental ability of the people making decisions in the company...

I bet they always wanted to do that but couldn't in fear of losinga lot of customers by doing so without a good excuse. Otherwise, why not make it fully QI in the first place?
