Anonymous, 13 Jul 2024They don't have OLED. I can understand preferring LCD ... morejust not true. a good IPS has sharper pixel resolution than OLED. proof of this is the comparison between regular high quality IPS Surface Pro 11 vs new OLED version. it also has better color reproduction and accuracy for creative work.

I can understand preferring LCD on a smartphone, but on a device mainly used to view videos there's simply no comparison. LCDs are just not capable, no blacks, no contrast, no experience. What's the point od buying a device, knowing that you'll be looking on a second rate picture. No other specs can compensate, and yes, I'm ready to overpay for OLED a little (unlike Samsung, where you have to overpay for OLED a lot)

            No 5G sim connection
            No GPS
            No desktop mode

            What a deal breaker

                looks good.

i wish it has 5G sim support to kill iPad, iPad Air, iPad Pro 5G and Samsung Tab S6/S7/S8/S9/S10 series 5G sim.

if it comes with UltraWide and Zoom Camera even better too.
which most of the tartgetted buyers are using them for classroom/meetings/site documentation purpose.

A bit pricier than i thought but at last, finally an android with 1tb option, i just wish it was 13 inch instead of 12, for now Vivo Pad3 or the iqoo takes my money and they're cheaper

I'd upgrade to MagicPad 2 but I doubt it will be available in my location as the predecessor wasn't.

MagicPad2 has some amazing specs for the price, would buy in a beat. But why no cellular option? What do they know, which Apple and Samsung don't?

"The first tablet is the MagicPad 2, with 12.3” OLED screen and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. The second is a Pad 9 Pro, a Dimensity 8100-powered tablet for remote learning."

When was the last time we saw the Dimensity 8100? Was it the Poco X4 GT?

Now that's a good pricing for the Pad 9 Pro!
