Japanese sites are speculating that this will cause return of centered layout of cameras ... i want to say its misleading speculation as 1st sony walkman had corner camera which no other could copy except for apple and royalty paying ones.. also sony always launched "centered" layout variants as cheap/econo variants with more premium customer milking ones with cornered layout variant.. so no matter what happens any variant coming up with centered layout will be just a customer milking variant indicating a cornered layout variant is imminent just to annoy 1st buyers and milk same customers again/twice...it has happened many many many times xperia-pro-1, xa2 ultra, xz3, xz2-premium and more

Same way you can see who makes screen because on it there is product code.
Back then I showed you screenshots of software code that shows imx650.
Here again: https://imgur.com/UU4D9NE
It is not about what AIDA64 claims or not.

"This would make no sense and the most plausible explanation would be that Sony is using the same internal name for different sensors since their actual names would never go public anyway."
The sensor codename that shows up in AIDA64 has never been revealed officially as it doesn't show up in Sony's official marketing material for Xperia 1 VI, it's an internal name. The said sensor is a Quad Bayer sensor *unlike* what Sony uses for its telephoto camera, and wouldn't fit inside its relatively thin periscope module. It just doesn't make any sense.

6oLsh0i6o0z3, 16 Jul 2024Sony still uses a circular vibration motor for its flagship? That's surprising considering it sounds pretty different from a typical lower-grade motor. I thought it was X-axis?

A phone that gets hot due to good cooling as it is dissipating that heat away from the processor. Check this, if you use a liquid metal on your heat sink instead of a thermal paste then your heat sink gets hotter due to the conductivity increase and if you use a poor conductor like a naf thermal compound or something then you get a hotter cpu or gpu as it traps the heat in, It might be uncomfortable to hold as it gets toasty with a really good intermediary, thats the point.

Talking ... more"The maximum angular resolution of the human eye at a distance of 1 km is typically 30 to 60 cm. This gives an angular resolution of between 0.02 to 0.03 degrees, which is roughly 0.6 arcminute per line pair, which implies a pixel spacing of 0.3 arcminute. 20/20 vision is defined as the ability to resolve two points of light separated by a visual angle of one minute of arc.[13] That's about 300 pixels per inch for a display on a device held 10 to 12 inches from the eye. Maybe you're an exception to the studies ha? Or are you holding your device so close to your face with the minimum focal length? :)
