Well dont get too excited because there is nothing to draw your attention past fold no upogrades just new cpu and gpu more bloatware and much increased price.
Fold or is good enough no need to pay for fold which is not different from or apart benchmark numbers.

Samsung foldable phones are definitely the most durable smartphones I've owned since back in the day when they were made of plastic. They just don't break if you drop them. You'll have to throw the phone into the ground to break something.

1. Choose non-black themes. (Brightness make it hard to see the crease)
2. Look directly, if you view it at the side.. reflection will see the crease.
3. This generation, the crease is not really felt on touch.
Thus most of the time, the users of the flip / fold have no problem or not noticing about the crease. The complains mainly came from non-users, as they are the one that view the phone at an angle see the crease reflection and complain.
Flip 6 this year no dex, but when connected to display will not letterbox.. so it's half way there only.
But only time will tell how durable this new flip / fold is.

Don't you ever wonder why the older models, when sold at used markets, rarely have the inner screen shown by sellers?
Even an S20U is still way more presentable than 3rd generation used foldables. 🤣

Coz foldable users literally do just that. Prolly to preserve the inner screen from creasing. I even heard one say he only uses inner screen 20% of the time. And proceeded ro defend it by saying that at least he can use it as a tablet of he wanted to. 🤣

It's a beautiful and handy device, but the 2000 euro price tag puts it out of reach for most people.

Is anyone surprised, 21 Jul 2024I can understand the numbers are up for the Flip6 as there ... moreI dont get why everyone complain about the outer screen's aspect ratio. Its a trade off between usability of inner and outer screens. More "normal" ratio of the outer, e.g. 20:9 means more square-ish inner screen and every media you consume will have huge blackbars and the image displayed not bigger than big slab phone.
In my opinion 22~23:9 is the best compromise between the two screens.
Maybe I think that way because I use the main inner screen way more often than the outer one. The secondary screen is only for notifications and quick control. Why would someone buy a folding phone when he is going to use it mostly like a normal phone.

I feel being flagship Fold and Flip inferior to its Galaxy S24 Ultra lines with inferior camera setup, inferior screen, no Titanium, battery power, no IP68, too cumbersome to carry in pockets. Very difficult to operate in one hand, folding screen might create crease. Very complicated hinge mechanism and replacement parts and service costs most likely prohibitive. Very few use cases for the Fold Mobile while Flip Mobile is interesting if the specs and performance matches S24 Ultra which is not the case. You may way more and get less.

Muffled sound, limited soundstage and many, many other flaws. No wonder they give them for free. They are good only for Teams calls.
