                Helper, 20 Jul 2024Yeah, except camera results which are on pixel's side ... moreWe actually do not know how the camera turns out, we also should not forget that nokia cameras were the best in line for years, the pixel is good only because hmd/nokia did not really invest in the camera in the last years, but 9 pureview crushed the pixel camera back then, of course, nothing for a user that just wants a selfie, but was a great camera non the less. I still tough like the result in 1020 or 808 pureview cameras more. Natural and smooth not this Ai generated abominations this days, oh well...

                      I do not think of them as being the best, nor the worse, but in the same time, i do mot think of anybody of being the best because nobody is. Their is always somebody/ something else that does better in one area and worse in the other. The only question is what you want and want or need, as you said in another comment, you need great camera, so you bought a pixel. It is a good choice in my opinion, even tough i do not think of pixel devices to have greatest camera in the world, they do have a good camera in comparison with the others at the price. For me, after years of owning smartphones, also way before 2007' i(notsosmart)phone, i am getting tired of all devices, so sutainable is the way for me. It takes me about 3 days to a week to make a new device work like i want it to work, with a lot of automations and privacy settings, i just don't want wasting my time on that anymore, so i do want a sustainable device to use it for years to come. In the same time i want a good great camera. Anyway, getting back to hmd, i actually had the nokia 8, that was further given to my sister and was in use for about 5 years, then i had the nokia 9 pureview, a great camera device, sadly way to nishe for hmd to further consider this models, and now i owe the x30. I find them all to be good devices and worthy of nokia Brand. My family also uses the x20, x10, and 7.2 all hmd nokia devices that do not couse great problems, the 7.2 now hitting the 5 years of use mark. There is a big difference between the midrage cpu's of today and the old ones like on 7.2. This new generations behave more like a proper flagship cpus with way less stutter and lag, i actually encounter no lag, so this device with the SD 7 gen 2 can be great for anybody that do not waste time gaming on their phones. But live the life they got.

The only garbage here is your comment and Samsungs OS. Tell me, how does bixby, a google assistent, aa gemini, aaa ads, aaaa the other 1000 not needed apps installed on it working for you? You probably praise it here, and complain on their site that this and that do not work, apps crash on daily basis, wi-fi covarege is abismal and battery drains like gasoline in a ferrari. But at least you are happy enough to bash way better devices in here, good for you👍🏻.

Any software can be tweeked to work on any hardware, the question is only if is worth the bother, for Fairphone? It does, because that is their selling point. They sell devices and replacements, so it is in their interest to have a stable Software ontop of the hardware. But you talk and talk and never used one or the other, why am i even bothering with you? You buy your Realdrink plone and let others decide what is good for them, shall we?

                              this does seem really good, it even has a 3.5mm which maybe moves it up to great. only downside for me i'm not sure a device with a 7s soc is worth that much, maybe £300 is more reasonable.

Hack even i myself bought the pixel soley because of the camera results and im an average user using only socials, browsing and shooting pics. I don't need much, just a reliable camera in all conditions and clean no bloatware android skin.
