          Dimtons, 24 Jul 2024Imagine it's late 2026, the iphone 18 gets released wi... moreBy the time 2026 rolls around I think at the very least the Pros will have under-display Face ID (if that graph from a while ago is still accurate). This means a circular punch hole but nothing more. The vanillas will still have the island.

          Apple is obviously late to the punch on many things but they usually just wait until the tech has matured enough to include it. (Aside from 120hz screens on the vanilla phones. Apple. Why.)

          Probably the main reason why most manufacturers stopped with the UD stuff is because they just want money. Samsung put UD cameras on only their most expensive Z Fold models and that's it. Once Apple gets around to doing full UD in 2027 I reckon the rest will follow and use it for the first time in ages.

                Imagine it's late 2026, the iphone 18 gets released with the same ugly notch still, why aren't there advancement in UD camera's so far
