imagine if app developers like Facebook, WhatsApp and many others didn't make support for iOS, we wouldn't see Apple still alive which is currently like how Windows Phone, BlackBerry OS etc died, so we won't see any manufacturers still making 1 camera phone in 2025.

One camera is sufficient as long as it can do all the basic camera phone functions (i.e., wide, ultrawide, zoom, and perhaps macro).

Hope this is true. It means apple is willing to take risks. Idk who at apple is insane enough to do this but I'm glad they're trying it.

Apple is going to use all the thinning tech innovated by Honor, Huawei, OPPO, Samsung, Vivo, Xiaomi on foldable and use it on a bar phone for "the thinnest iPhone ever. Wow"

Seriously, if you want a cellphone that is as thin as paper but solid and sturdy, this is amazing, then this is the answer, iPhone Slim 17. You want a network Super fast 7G cellular, of course it's possible because this iPhone series is a super thin and light model so there's no word lag in the iPhone dictionary. then make no mistake! This iPhone's features are claimed to be 10x more than Samsung's, you will be able to use iOS to innovate more. I guarantee you will not be bored after buying it

Zaini, 25 Jul 2024Titanium alloy stronger than pure titanium. 👍The Titanium in iPhones are only cosmetic. The actual frame is aluminum. Yes, the actual frame of the 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max are aluminum, that are coated with Titanium. So the Titanium basically is just a coat of paint, only cosmetic.

Seems very dubious.
Undoubtly axing the Plus model would make sense, to push people wanting a larger iPhone to spend a lot more for the Pro Max, just like good old times. But releasing a main model without dual camera, aka without spatial video recording? That's very unlikely. The 16 will be able to do so, so I doubt that a 17 model won't be able to.
Since the rumors keep going on for this, if this were true, I'm guessing that this will be a new model, like an iPhone Air, separating it from the main lineup. Since being thin is the main selling point, it really harkens back to the original idea of the Macbook Air. Then people wouldn't mind the reduced functionalities. Macbook Air originally had less features than the standard Macbook lineup (no optical drive, only single USB port, etc). Apple thus is justified to charge a premium (for the thinness) despite the lack of features even compared to the regular iPhone 17.
