I said in low light the 3x is very bad. If you're ok with noise, excessive noise reduction that reduces detail and a pink/green/purple tint due to the high color noise, sure, the 3x is nice.
I was only talking about middling/low light. That's where I take most of my photos, so pardon me for not always taking photos in daytime to make sure my 1200 dollar phone can take good shots with its telephoto. The telephoto cam is decent in good light but at night time it's abysmal. What's your point even? I'm just saying the 3x is basically useless at night and Apple's 2x is far superior to Samsung's one which has always felt like a digital zoom instead of a crop

Even now it’s AI era both iOS and Android, competition is good. Btw Xiaomi good too despite it cheaper price just good overall.

The EU has already commented they are disappointed with how Apple continues with the consumer-hostile behaviour and are very likely ALSO going to investigate this.

If was real time AI transiting in early time my Samsung S24 Ultra got many error while translating. Update after update surely improved. Probably like you said people want what their expectations once it out from the box ready to use. Apple expecting to be better. Be late it’s ok, better late than later chaotic fix.

I felt like I was using a 200 dollar phone. Good thing I'm on android and have gcam, now the photos look great. I can also use the Pro mode and shoot raw to edit to my liking. The base photos look terrible.
And the 14 Pro Max takes slightly more overprocessed photos so I don't think it's that much better than the 13 Pro Max, basically Samsung's cams suck for the most part. In good daylight it's preferences ig but oh boi, the 14 Pro Max feels like a DSLR compared to my S22 Ultra. Unless I use gcam or the pro mode.

Ahaha Apple knows this AI stuff is just a balloon full of smoke. There's very little innovation in this. Real AI is decades away or more. Not in the lifetime of some of us here.

Example AI real time translation back then early release always got a lot error and misspelling. Better just wait and see gonna be better.
