I do agree tho, back in the day Chinese phones DID have reception issues. But those have mostly been fixed but if you're still iffy you can check out the bands in TradingShenzhen. That ought to fix stuff up for you!
Also, better to go with an iPhone if you don't tinker around with your phone. I tinker with any and everything so i like android and windows but if you don't do that, Apple's great. The current iPhones are super customizable and iPhones used to be more expensive and now androids are more expensive. I just hate that. Samsung did this with the S20 Ultra.

I had a Redmi 4x years ago and I loved that phone. 4100mah battery, IR blaster etc. (And now I really wish I could have the 5 inch screen back). But the service was sketchy because it didn't have all the bands for my cell carrier. And that's a common issue for those unlocked international phones. (Some, ATT flat refuses to support also. )
I fully agree with you that Vivo (and all the others) could make a big splash if they could find a foothold in the US. I love more phone choice and often cry in American because of the lack of it. So many incredible, affordable options. In the US if you go to your carrier for your phone its Samsung or Iphone. I'm not an Iphone fan and Samsung is just coming off as lazy and comfortable with their market position. That was my comment -- innovation better be coming in the next model year or they may finally feel some pressure.

How about not sharp edges that hurt if you hold your phone?
How about better repairability?
How about cleaner OS?
How about not costing twice the price of a good laptop?

Secondly, not everyone lives in the US. Most sales in the US are of iPhones. If they were to dictate any phone's sales it'd be the iPhone. They don't dictate the sales of other phones based on consumer wants. They dictate sales of other phones based on how scared the companies are. If they think competition is too fierce, they ban them, or say they have spyware.
I believe Vivo could do more damage than Xiaomi as there's a stigma about Xiaomi still worldwide and Vivo's growing in sales and stuff, not to mention those euro 2024 ads they had which caught everyone's attention. I remember Kia's seach numbers being 20% or something higher but only cus no one understood what their new logo meant so everyone searched for KN lmao

Why more ram when the phones are becoming more sluggish and freeze all the time they should just change their current software also their operating system yoi can't still be using 3xynos on a high end and midrange phone .they also suffer from overheating and slow charging speeds

Already using 5000 mah battery with 100W fast charging. Also 256 GB with 16 GB RAM. All this in my 1 year old OnePlus 11R.
If compared to less expensive 1 year old O+11R I don't see any advantage from S25 ultra (except best in class camera and latest processor)

It all becomes irrelevant if the S25 comes with Exynos.
Reminder: Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will have Oryon cores. Nothing Samsung has comes close.

Samsung could've just added fast charging as their team is capable enough and the software has the means to limit charge their batteries and other magical stuff to avoid too much wear during charging.

Correction: The S25U will have the same RAM as the S20U matching a 4 soon-to-be 5 year old smartphone. Samsung has been holding out ever since.

I keep seeing 60tb SSD articles but samsung selling flagship products with 256gb. 2024 flagships need a 1tb minimum offering, with 2tb and 4tb being offered. Especially with this extended security updates marketing, telling us to hold onto phones for longer. The old S22 ultra can record video in 8k, yet came in 128gb. At least give us a SD slot again...

When something else needs ram, the system will use less to share with it. Why do you think 32gb - 64gb for gaming PCs is the now? Better to have extra floating around and when a program is being ram selfish, all is fine.

Hopefully S27 Plus gets 1TB storage and 16GB ram variant. Why S27 Plus because already bought S24 Plus. Not going to buy a new phone several years.
