This sounds as if it's intentional all along since Google will transition to TSMC fabrication next year. Maybe Google will get serious with Tensor G5.

I don't care about performance numbers if they can make this chip as efficient as Apple's. If these speeds come at like 2-4W then yeah good enough ig I just feel like the chip's taking in 7-9W of power for these numbers, if not more power, and that'd be just sad.

just use 7+ Gen 3 then, it makes the phone cheaper, battery life and thermal will be better.
