AnonD-156573, 17 Jul 2013512 mb RAM is enough for windows os. i am using 720 and i k... moreI had a Symbian phone E72. It has 128 MB ram and Nokia says that it will be enough for Symbian. But when using many times I got message of "low memory can not do this task" like that. Sometimes it hang and trip off. Some 720 users also complaining in forums that their devices hang in heavy use sometimes. Meanwhile 820 , 920 have 1 GB ram for which reason?. Also I am afraid 512 MB ram devices will not get future OS updates.

AnonD-43136, 17 Jul 2013Actually these games run fine on my old live walkman with 512ram!they ran perfectly without rooting,overclocking,etc??besides as far as i remember se live(i used it until recently)..it had hvga screen so it needed much less ram(much less pixels to buffer)....this phone has a wvga screen so it needs more ram...anyhow it is very likely that more of them will be available for 512mb ram phones and work out of the box as they are just ports from android phones,they will be updated by time like temple run...

I suppose the reason windows phone have lower ram is because it hasn't got the high end games like shadow gun deadzone which do require 1gb+ to be enjoyed properly! This new nokia looks boring in comparison to 820 and 920

Windows Phone OS doesn't require as much RAM and it still runs smoother. You want facts, look at the S4 - even with 2GB it lags when switching screens :)

Ok how many Android oem give Software update for all their phone from high-end to low-end? Nokia is the only oem that i know who constantly updates their apps and the Os. Try a computer with Windows or a Mac or a Linux pc with 512 MB RAM...In this case: Android=WIndows, very hungry for resources. This is not innovation, it'sabsence of optimization. Android is becoming very heavy, a quad-core (or octa-core!) in a phone is an absurdity.
