You know what is truly revealing, is that Geekbench for Android still shows that this latest Snapdragon 8 gen 4 is a ARMv8, but starting back with Snapdragon 8 gen 1, it was using ARMv9, and every new Snapdragon 8 gen x has been using ARMv9. That just proves what a piece of crap Geekbench truly is. We are on the 4th generation, and Geekbench is still reporting these new chips as ARMv8.

Also if you are buying a new phone every year because of unnoticeable improvements in daily usage, then honestly you need to rethink your choices for starters.

Furthermore with how tightly everything is packed cooling would become an issue because of less space. There is also the fact that each phone is optimised to use the chip it has. Your idea sounds great on paper, but in practice is awful.

look at the VERSUS video comparing A17 Dimensity SD8G3 E2400 TG3 - A17Pro obliterated them with far less power in terms of multi core scores
