No...U hve to suffer, 12 Aug 2024Do you like vivo's software?funtouch os is a love-hate relationship in my opinion. the downsides that they lag on 4GB ram devices. the battery optimization is great. the icons looks pretty good though. i rate the OS 7.5 out of 10.

The vivo v40 pro is not that bad for it's price especially if you consider the durability,battery and charging speed,
The regular v40 is extremely overpriced in comparison to the xiaomi 14 civi and other mid-rangers

It's so great to see a phone with high durabi... moreAlthough the curved screen is quite the detriment to durability and gaming, it should be said that the curved screen does make the phone feel slimmer and more high end. I bought a V30 a few months ago for a present and it felt REALLY GOOD to hold, especially for people with small hands like me.
The V30 was my H1 2024 recommendation for a performance-leaning mid range phone (plus they were constantly on sale for 20-30% off). A55 was a close second but I hated how the thick blocky edges felt to hold.
Still dislike it, because I game a lot and I'm glad I'm not the one daily driving it lmao

curved screen looks cool and that's just about it. It serves no other purpose but to look cool. We don't need that, it's too fragile and too finicky.
Go back to flat displays.

But why did they have to slap a curved screen on it? What's the point of doing all the work to make it rated IP69k just to use a more fragile display? (More fragile than flat, i know the other v series are also curved)

Prices are too high for V40 Series. V40 uses same 7 Gen 3 of V30 5G which Available at INR 26000 without bank offer. If only it had priced at INR 29999 for 8/128 without bank offer & 27999 with Bank offer, it would have been best. Same for V40 Pro. Price should be 42999 without bank offer & 39999 with Bank offers cuz how will they compete against Xiaomi 14 Civi, OnePlus 11, OnePlus 12R, Realme GT 6 & Honor 200 Pro ?? Waiting for Big Billion Days Sale & Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale to get it huge discounts which a month away from now.
